WHAT AILS OUR NATION AND POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

Have been thinking for long since the attack. You may ask me why i didnt earlier. But you need to excuse me as the bombings which had become an almost every day occurence had numbed my senses. However, 112608 was a clear call of sorts which sent every nerve ending in me into a tizzy. I was watching and getting to know on a real time basis as to how my fellow citizens and my guests were being massacred by very well coordinated, planned and disciplined killers.Do i sit and let this day pass? NODo i sit wringing my hands and act helpless? NODo i blame my politicians? YESDo i blame my police forces? HELL YESDo i say we were caught napping underwears down? OH YEAHIs it end game? NO NOT AT ALL.Here are some solutions that came to my mind which can help ourselves get rid of our problems. Not all ideas are mine. I have spoken to a few well intentioned individuals and some are well, mine. All said and done however, we need to realise that there was never a much better occassion to act, than is now. If we fail to wake up now, we may never ever need to wake up cos we might have been massacred by some nameless, faceless terrorist belonging to some multinational killing organization.We need to make a difference and we need to stand up now and make our opinions and decisions be counted.All that I chose to write is because I love my Great Nation and will do so till the moment I live and would want to be born again to this same Nation I so love and care for.Here we go:1.Secure Borders Act2.Machinery to add teeth to the fighting forces and personnel to be provided3.Sympathetic Indians Network abroad to be established4.Serving or retired technocrats to be appointed to the NSA & Home Affairs ministry5.Recall option to be added to the Indian Constitution to recall nonperforming elected head of states6.Compulsory military training to all adults7.Information sharing between RAW And regional police forces8.Corruption at all levels in the police to be identified and eradicated and severely punished9.Multiparty system allowed in the Indian constitution to be replaced by triparty.10.Regional NSG Battalions to be raised11.leverage the Software prowess for espionage, counter espionage activities12.All wireless service providers to secure and pass on suspicious information.13.Young leadership from grass roots with strong educational and secular credentials irrespective of political or religious background to be brought to the forefront.14.Licensing regimen for private ownership of fire arms for self protection to be relaxed.15.Insurance and medical benefits for all Indian citizens to be made mandatory.16.Hot pursuit in both Indian and overseas to be made a self declared right of the Indian Government.17.Regional as well as national parties into divisive politics to be banned by the election commission. 18.NSG Women wing 19.Maritime Restricted movement Act 20.Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hydrabad, Ahemedabad, & important strategic Cities under Central Rule 21.A strong intelligence wing on the lines of KGB, FBI & Israel Mossad 22.Counter Insurgency Militant Force sponsored by India Govt. to penetrate Pakistan
